Sizing and fit

How do I know which size I need?

Measure the inside diameter (ID) of the hose you are replacing — the hole the fuel actually travels through. That is the only number that matters. Outside diameter tells you nothing about fit. If you would rather not guess, pick your machine on Find by Machine and we will show the sizes it takes.

My machine is not on your list. Now what?

Send us the brand, model and year, plus a photo of the old hose next to a ruler if you can. We will match it by hand and tell you which size to cut. This is the most common email we get, and it usually takes one reply.

Do the kits include clamps?

Yes. Every kit ships with the right number of spring clamps for the lengths in the box, so you are not making a second trip to the hardware store mid-job.

Are the sizes in inches or millimetres?

Inches. Small-engine fuel hose is a fractional-inch world — 3/16", 1/4", 5/16" — and that is how the machines and the parts catalogues are described. Millimetre equivalents are on each product page if you need them.

The two hose types — this one matters

What is the difference between your rubber line and your silicone line?

The black rubber (NBR) line carries gasoline and oil. The silicone line is for air, vacuum and coolant only.

Can I use the silicone hose for fuel?

No. Silicone swells and breaks down on contact with petrol or diesel, and a leaking fuel line next to a hot engine is how fires start. Keep the two lines strictly apart, and if a silicone hose has ever had fuel through it, do not put it back on a machine.

Which one should I buy?

Fuel system (tank to carburettor, primer lines, filters): rubber. Intake piping, vacuum lines, coolant and water runs: silicone. If you are not sure which system you are looking at, ask us before ordering.

Shipping and tracking

How fast do you ship?

Orders are dispatched from our US fulfillment center in 3–5 business days, Monday to Friday excluding holidays. See the shipping policy for the full detail.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free anywhere in the United States. Tax, where it applies, is calculated at checkout. There is no minimum order and no handling fee. We ship to US addresses only.

Where is my tracking number?

It is emailed to you the moment the carrier scans the parcel. If a business day has passed and it has not arrived, tell us — something went wrong on our end. The order tracking page explains what to do next.

Returns and warranty

What if the size is wrong?

Unused, uncut hose goes back within 30 days for a refund, with no restocking fee. Full detail is on Returns & Refunds.

My hose failed after a season. Is that covered?

Probably not — and it is worth understanding why, because it will happen again otherwise. Fuel line is a wear item, and ethanol-blended fuel hardens it over time. That is normal service life. Manufacturing faults are a different thing and are covered; see Warranty Terms.

Orders and payment

What payment methods do you take?

Payment is handled at checkout by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details.

Can I change or cancel an order?

If it has not shipped yet, yes — contact us with the order number as soon as you can. Once the parcel is with the carrier we cannot pull it back.

Do you sell on other marketplaces?

No. Orders placed here are packed and shipped by us directly from our own US warehouse.
